Lord of the Wolfen by Alisha Paige is the first book in the wildly sexy series, Circle City. It's a delightful, spicy and very sensual read, with very likeable and well developed characters. It's a perfect book for chilly spring evenings, it will most definitely keep you warm! The heroin of this story, Zoe O'Brien, is a secluded and lonely widow, who, after loosing her husband and son in a car accident, decides to live far away from civilization. She lives alone in a worn log cabin built on snow covered Alaskan ground. The story starts with Zoe being yanked out of sleep by a wolf howl, followed by terrifying yelping. Convinced that local hunters trespassed on her property to kill a wolf, she pulls on her husband's jacket and runs out in hope to stop them. Instead of hunters, though, she finds a crazed mother wolf, who already killed seven of her pups and is now about to kill the last one. Zoe shoots the female wolf, just in time to save herself from being brutally ripped to pieces. She picks up the pup, cradles it against her chest and brings it home with her, intending to take care of the terrified poor thing. The pup she saved is not just any pup, though. As Zoe learns later, Axl (cause that's his real name) is a Wolfen, one of the People of Wolf, able to shift into a wolf form at will. As a matter of fact, he is the heir to the Wolfen throne. Accused of murdering the Wolfen Clan leader's daughter and kidnapping Axl, Zoe is taken captive by the Wolfen and she's imprisoned in the Circle City. She finds herself in the middle of the war between Wolfen Clan and the Kontar Clan, surrounded by creatures she never knew existed. Zoe's life is about to be changed forever and there's nothing she can do about it. Alisha Paige has written an unbelievably fascinating and captivating paranormal romance. She created an amazing, mesmerizing world, filled with beautiful, sexy creatures, burning desires and steamy fantasies. This book is erotic, fast paced and enthralling. Paige brings the reader into a fantasy world of Wolves and Dogs, a world of passion and eye-popping rituals. Erotica fans will love the sizzling heat of this story! It's one of those books you just can't put down until you've read it all in one setting! I really enjoyed the plot. Even though I am not at all a fan of Erotica genre, I had a lot of fun reading Lord of the Wolfen, it was perfectly balanced and not too overwhelming in it's sexiness. Whether you're a fan of Erotica, or you simply enjoy Paranormal/Fantasy novels, I think you should give this book a try, it really is a great read!

Aphrodite is furious with Clio who chided her for loving Adonis. So what better punishment for Clio, the muse of history, than to have to go from one lifetime to the next correcting mistakes made in the past? Thinking that this is still not enough of a punishment, Aphrodite throws in a cruel twist. As each life unfolds Clio will find the reincarnated soul of her mortal lover Pierus. Each time having the task of trying to make him remember, having a brief moment with him, and then losing him again. Leaving Clio wondering each time if in this next life she will find him again, and also if she can take the pain of watching him die over and over. Thus making Clio suffer the pain Aphrodite felt when Adonis was ripped away from her. Well you know what they say about a women scorned. Never has it held more truth then in Alisha Paige's The Hour Glass Witch. Alisha Paige is not shy when it comes to heating up the pages with scorching hot sweaty sex. Dionysus also has an intriguing part and is a delightfully sexy character. When he was swept away, leaving the reader hanging as to what happens to him, (hint, hint) I desperately wanted to know more about his fate. Alisha Paige has penned an emotionally charged, uniquely imaginative and very sexy tale that is worth the time and money to read.

In 1825, the Rose Hill Plantation was the horror of Jamaica. Annie, the White Witch, had been orphaned as a child and raised in the blackest form of voodoo. As an evil voodoo priestess, she killed her slaves for the smallest slight and the rest lived in terror. She used male slaves as her lovers, and none lived for long. She made a terrible mistake, though, when she called Talin to her bed. Talin had been a white voodoo priest in Africa before being captured and sold into slavery. Slavery, though, had brought him his wife, Daisy, and he was determined to protect her and end the terror of the White Witch. He planned a voodoo ceremony for Daisy to do while he pleasured the witch, but Daisy’s fear and jealousy caused her to do something different, and that difference led to death and tragedy for all of them. 200 years later, Talin was given a second chance. And although the forest guardian told him to use this chance for healing, he was consumed with his need for revenge. He knew that the White Witch’s spirit still roamed Rose Hill, and now one of her descendents, Tammie, was living there. Talin has to decide whether he will take the path of revenge or the path of love and healing.
“Voodoo Moon” is a powerful, intricate story of the worst and best aspects of humanity. Although love does not conquer all, it endures and teaches. The author has created some of the most authentic and interesting characters I’ve ever met. The tale is full of twists, surprises, terror, creepy atmosphere, and passion. They say that good things come in small packages, and this is a whole lot of story skillfully crammed into a novella.

Voodoo? Black magick? Shapeshifters? Not what this reader normally reads. No way. But I did and truly enjoyed every word.
With surprising twists and turns, Voodoo Moon is a fast-paced story which intertwines the past and present at Rose Hall in Jamaica. Alisha Paige captured the island setting so perfectly, I felt like I was there. She introduced me to a genre of writing I'd never delved into before and gladly will do so again. Her writing is skillful and masterful. Each character is well-defined. Each word, sentence, and phrase move the story forward to a breath-taking conclusion.
Congratulations, Alisha, on a story well done.

Chastity is a reporter and has a story that will blow the lid right off the roof as well as jump start her career right into the big league. If she can live long enough for all of tha to happen and meeting Vex is not going to make staying alive any easier. Jack-the-Ripper is back and only Vex will be able to stop him as long as Chastity doesn't distract him too much from what he needs to do. This is not your garden-variety serial killer.
Born from a bloodsucker and a shifter-rapt, Vex and his brothers have the unusual ability to sense when either is present. A handy ability when there are times you are there to kill a rogue troublemaker. What he senses about the “copy cat” Jack-the-Ripper is keeping him up at night. This is one of his people and only he can and must stop him before he disappears again.
It seems that Chastity Worthington is going to be the ripper’s next victim. Vex’s challenge will be to keep Chastity alive, capture Jack, and keep everything that’s going on a secret. Who is Vex keeping Chastity safe from? Himself or Jack? Right now, Vex isn’t sure which is less dangerous to her.
Alisha Paige takes the vampire and shapeshifter genres and puts a delightfully new slant on the paranormal world. It's not easy to come up with new ways to intrigue the reader but Ms. Paige has done just that. Sex is a good but forbidden desire where the reader can taste the attraction even before the final conquest! YUM!! The static of the anticipated touch when the characters are mere inches from each other bounces off the pages right into the reader's lap. The shock when that first touch happens will make you shiver. Got your attention? Good, because that along with the intriguing story is exactly what you will get when you pick up Alisha Paige's Nocturnally Vexed.

Reviews for Canyon Wolf Bride
Rating: 5 Angels by Linda L. at Fallen Angel Reviews
Paige Wellington works as a curator in an art museum. She feels honored to be able to showcase some great art exhibits. Some of the finest pieces of work come from Coming Wind, an American Indian artist, and a powerful elder of the Havasupai Tribe in the Grand Canyon. Paige loves displaying his works of art. They hit it off well in her business.
Another person Paige bonds well with is Sean Wilson, Olympic ski champion. Ever since the death of her husband, Rob, Sean has been there for her. He was the last one to see Rob die in the tragic skiing accident. Now two years later, Paige is finally coming to terms with Rob’s death, and spending extra time with Sean. In fact, each passing day seems to draw them closer together.
Sean has dreamt of being with Paige for a long time, but it appears he isn’t the only one who seeks her attention. Sean gets a bad feeling when he is around Coming Wind. He feels there is something not right about him. After Coming Wind makes an advance toward Paige, Sean steps in. Sean’s casual friendship slowly blossoms into much more with Paige, but if his secret is revealed, Paige may not understand and he could lose her. When he and Paige travel to the Grand Canyon, Sean makes a discovery about a wolf tribe that reveals more to Paige. Now she is left wondering if the new information will allow her to have a relationship with Sean.
Canyon Wolf Bride is a fabulous read. I found the plot intriguing and the characters in-depth. The tie-in with Coming Wind, and Paige, really pits some good action scenes between him and Sean. Alisha Paige paints some lovely scenery and characters that lift off the pages. She gives her readers a remarkable couple hard to let go. One can almost see the sights and sounds of the Grand Canyon, and the falls down below the canyon. Having lived there for nine months, it was just a quick reminder of how lovely a place is, especially when you share it with someone you love. I thought the paranormal events added a splendid touch of mystery that even sent some chills. Ms. Paige allows the reader to almost smell the scent of the forest and experience all the beauty of the wildlife depicted in this thrilling story.

This exceptional paranormal suspense-thriller features some edge-of-your seat (or perhaps more correctly, 'hair-raising" ) moments. Why is it when someone says, "Don't be afraid," you already know you are going to be terrified?
Paranormal and wolf trappings aside, "Canyon Wolf Bride" by Alisha Paige is an honestly good, intriguing and suspenseful story. The descriptions of wildlife and details of the forest are vividly real, and become a plausible backdrop for unpredictable occurrences.
The heroine, Paige, is a feisty, fun and obviously smart person, with a bit of sadness in her past. Her love interest, Sean, is obviously more than he seems, but he seems so wonderful, you want to love him. Sexual tension and sexual arousal build toward a very celebratory experience, although even while reveling in the moment, we realize that there is something hidden, something yet to come. And though we guess at all that is foreshadowed, the storyline is original and unpredictable. The natural world twines amazingly with the human world, and somehow, the world of the paranormal seems no less natural than an owl flying home by twilight.
This beautifully written book is a sensual delight, from beginning to end. Listen to the haunting background of Celtic song while the fire pops and crackles. Smell the cinnamon... admire that man with the very tight behind, the big, strong arm muscles, and his 'other side' as well. Canyon Wolf Bride is a contemporary paranormal romance, with hints of not just the other world, but of other times.

When Sean and Paige decide to take a vacation at the Grand Canyon, Sean has no idea how his life is about to change. He learned that there is a group of people, the Havasupai, who share his genetic defect - the werewolf gene in him. At first Sean is overwhelmed by this new discovery. For so long the only person who knew and who also shared this secret was his aunt. Sean's struggle to lead a normal life, always fearing discovery, has been taxing to say the least. Now as Sean runs with others like himself for the first time, he feels he has a freedom he has never known. Now more than ever he is sure he cannot keep this a secret as he first thought when he began his relationship with Paige. Paige's reaction will determine whether they will have a future together or not.
Disillusioned and scared Paige doesn’t know how to come to terms with this new information. These things don’t happen in the real world. This is the stuff of nightmares or cheap B movies late at night and it has her wondering whether or not there can be any future for them.
Canyon Wolf Bride is a gripping story. It takes you step by step with Paige and Sean as their relationship goes from a gentle friendship forged from disaster to a budding love affair. Your heart will break when Sean realizes that for all he's gained what he may now lose. As each tantalizing moment builds, author Alisha Paige will have you experiencing a kaleidoscope of emotions right up until the every end.

Imagine you have fallen in love with the man of your dreams. You have agreed to marry him and he and his aunt tell you the family secret. That part of their time is spent as wolves. How do you react?
Paige Wellington is an art curator at the local museum. She has just started dating again after mourning her husband. Her husband's friend Sean Wilson has been there for her since her husband's death. She has fallen in love with Sean, more so than what she felt for her husband.
Sean Wilson spends part of his time as a silver wolf. He wants to mate with Paige and knows that he has to tell her the family secret. Yet he is afraid he will lose her. After saving Paige from a rape by Dark Horse, twin to famous artist Coming Wind. They spend time in the Grand Canyon with Coming Wind and his family.
Sean proposes to Paige while at the Grand Canyon. He must soon tell her that he is a wolf. He must also tell her that he is the alpha wolf for the Grand Canyon pack/tribe. Will Paige accept the truth? Will she still marry Sean?
Ms. Paige wrote a beautiful love story. It brought out many emotions within me. The strongest which is jealousy, Sean seems to be a perfect example of an alpha that many a woman would appreciate in her life. He seemed to cherish her and that was before the marriage vows and after. If I see this in print and have the money on me, it will have a spot on my book shelf.

In this lovely romantic drama Paige, a widowed museum curator and old friend Sean, a half man-half wolf Olympic gold ski champion fall desperately in love with each other. Most of the story’s setting takes place in Havasu Canyon Arizona, and is described beautifully.

I really enjoyed what Ms. Paige did with her werewolves. The twins were a surprise. And so was her father's preoccupation. ;) This is a book of surprises that forces the characters forward to deal with their romance.
Reviews for The Wooden Nickel
Rating: Excellent by Rita Thedford, author of Tempted and One Dependable Man
It was a time of sorrow and loss. A time of war and sacrifice. For Louise and Cliff it was also a time of love that spans the years of the Great Depression and the dust bowl and travels to war-ravaged Europe. But in the end, it is the promise of a wooden nickel and never-ending love that binds these two together through the years. Alisha Paige paints a vivid portrait of young love that stands the test of time and survives, whole and strong, through troubled times. The Wooden Nickel is a must read book!
Rating: Excellent by Tricia Lee, author of A Caribbean Summer, Cotton and Amorous Ambush
This is a love story that captures the essence of some of the most important events of the twentieth century: from the depression and the dust bowl to WWII and beyond. The Wooden Nickel holds true love together and never lets hope die. The author has an uncanny knowledge of the language, the landscape, and the family life of rural Texas. Told in real time and in flashbacks, the reader can follow the story line without missing a beat. It is impossible to put the book down. A love story told with passion and understanding, this is a book that should be read over and over again.

Paige weaves a delightful love story that begins with a chance meeting during the Texas dust bowl years and spans half a century. The drama and love between two innocents, Cliff and Louise, unfolds amid a struggling nation, a world at war, the Holocaust, years of separation and love kept alive by an unpretentious wooden nickel.
The story is fresh and epic in nature, the unforgettable characters richly drawn. For readers who enjoy a good love story, The Wooden Nickel just may take them back to their own lives when innocence turned to love.
