DEEP THOUGHTS BY SPECIAL READERS

Every published author receives good and bad reviews. There is no way to flee from the tomatoes tossed our way from time to time. No sense in covering your ears when you hear the ugly boos and hisses. Everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it. I actually appreciate a reader taking the time to review my book, even if it is a negative review. Here is a selection of my very favorite bad reviews. Actually a bad review can make my day, especially when it reads like the gems below. Who doesn't love comic relief? Every single person views the world, art, music, everything in a different way. I find it fascinating and interesting to read negative reviews. You often find one thing that really repelled a reader, forcing that person to rush to their computer to write a review for all the world to see. I'm interested in those things. HORRIBLE BOOK

It was a large porno. The characters are not the best and it was a long book with many twists and turns. I hated it after about 50 pages. I don't recommened this book to anyone.

If she'd have cracked a single book on Greek myth, she would have learned the Greeks didn't have reincarnation. I can't recommend it.

I must have read a different book. I should say I must have started a different book. I could not finish this. It is not romantic, not erotic and not even interesting. The paranormal aspects are poorly conceived and the writing is poor. I am not referring to spelling or poor sentence structure. This just does not flow and when the only way you can make the action even remotely logical is through drugging your characters I have a problem. When I found myself skimming rather than reading and not finding anything that captured my attention after reading about a third of the book I gave up. I don't usually write negative reviews but when the only two reviews give five stars for something that I really found dismal, I just want to provide a little balance. I very rarely fail to finish a book even if I find it lacking. Enough said.
