Ms. Paige is a brilliant writer. She pulls the reader into the story and never lets go. You feel the sizzle come off the page and grab a fan to cool yourself. But the struggles that Paige and Sean go through are not easy. The romance is sweet and I loved the whole story. It was pure emotion.

In this lovely romantic drama Paige, a widowed museum curator and old friend Sean, a half man-half wolf Olympic gold ski champion fall desperately in love with each other. Most of the story’s setting takes place in Havasu Canyon Arizona, and is described beautifully.

The characters bonds are solid and the interaction flow unwavering.

Alisha Paige has done a wonderful job bringing Sean and Paige’s life story to our readers. Canyon Wolf Bride is an easy read with beautiful people, settings, and dramas. Now is a great time for release being an especially wonderful read for the summer.

Imagine you have fallen in love with the man of your dreams.  You have agreed to marry him and he and his aunt tell you the family secret. That part of their time is spent as wolves.  How do you react?

Paige Wellington is an art curator at the local museum.  She has just started dating again after mourning her husband.  Her husband's friend Sean Wilson has been there for her since her husband's death.  She has fallen in love with Sean, more so than what she felt for her husband.

Sean Wilson spends part of his time as a silver wolf.  He wants to mate with Paige and knows that he has to tell her the family secret.  Yet he is afraid he will lose her.  After saving Paige from a rape by Dark Horse, twin to famous artist Coming Wind.  They spend time in the Grand Canyon with Coming Wind and his family.

Sean proposes to Paige while at the Grand Canyon.  He must soon tell her that he is a wolf.  He must also tell her that he is the alpha wolf for the Grand Canyon pack/tribe.  Will Paige accept the truth?  Will she still marry Sean?

Ms. Paige wrote a beautiful love story.  It brought out many emotions within me.  The strongest which is jealousy, Sean seems to be a perfect example of an alpha that many a woman would appreciate in her life.  He seemed to cherish her and that was before the marriage vows and after.  If I see this in print and have the money on me, it will have a spot on my book shelf.

When Sean and Paige decide to take a vacation at the Grand Canyon, Sean has no idea how his life is about to change. He learned that there is a group of people, the Havasupai, who share his genetic defect - the werewolf gene in him. At first Sean is overwhelmed by this new discovery. For so long the only person who knew and who also shared this secret was his aunt. Sean's struggle to lead a normal life, always fearing discovery, has been taxing to say the least. Now as Sean runs with others like himself for the first time, he feels he has a freedom he has never known. Now more than ever he is sure he cannot keep this a secret as he first thought when he began his relationship with Paige. Paige's reaction will determine whether they will have a future together or not.

Disillusioned and scared Paige doesn’t know how to come to terms with this new information. These things don’t happen in the real world. This is the stuff of nightmares or cheap B movies late at night and it has her wondering whether or not there can be any future for them.

Canyon Wolf Bride is a gripping story. It takes you step by step with Paige and Sean as their relationship goes from a gentle friendship forged from disaster to a budding love affair. Your heart will break when Sean realizes that for all he's gained what he may now lose. As each tantalizing moment builds, author Alisha Paige will have you experiencing a kaleidoscope of emotions right up until the every end.

What Readers Are Saying About Canyon Wolf Bride!

Reviewed by Avid Reader, Cathy at Barnes and Noble

Canyon Wolf Bride is one of the best books I have ever read. Alisha Paige is a very talented writer who captures your attention from the very first chapter. There was never a 'good time' to put down the book. The characters are all very realistic and I felt myself pulled into the story. My next trip to Arizona just may include a visit to the Grand Canyon...

This exceptional paranormal suspense-thriller features some edge-of-your seat (or perhaps more correctly, 'hair-raising" ) moments. Why is it when someone says, "Don't be afraid," you already know you are going to be terrified?

Paranormal and wolf trappings aside, "Canyon Wolf Bride" by Alisha Paige is an honestly good, intriguing and suspenseful story. The descriptions of wildlife and details of the forest are vividly real, and become a plausible backdrop for unpredictable occurrences.

The heroine, Paige, is a feisty, fun and obviously smart person, with a bit of sadness in her past. Her love interest, Sean, is obviously more than he seems, but he seems so wonderful, you want to love him. Sexual tension and sexual arousal build toward a very celebratory experience, although even while reveling in the moment, we realize that there is something hidden, something yet to come. And though we guess at all that is foreshadowed, the storyline is original and unpredictable. The natural world twines amazingly with the human world, and somehow, the world of the paranormal seems no less natural than an owl flying home by twilight.

This beautifully written book is a sensual delight, from beginning to end. Listen to the haunting background of Celtic song while the fire pops and crackles. Smell the cinnamon... admire that man with the very tight behind, the big, strong arm muscles, and his 'other side' as well. Canyon Wolf Bride is a contemporary paranormal romance, with hints of not just the other world, but of other times.

Paige Wellington works as a curator in an art museum. She feels honored to be able to showcase some great art exhibits. Some of the finest pieces of work come from Coming Wind, an American Indian artist, and a powerful elder of the Havasupai Tribe in the Grand Canyon. Paige loves displaying his works of art. They hit it off well in her business.

Another person Paige bonds well with is Sean Wilson, Olympic ski champion. Ever since the death of her husband, Rob, Sean has been there for her. He was the last one to see Rob die in the tragic skiing accident. Now two years later, Paige is finally coming to terms with Rob’s death, and spending extra time with Sean. In fact, each passing day seems to draw them closer together.

Sean has dreamt of being with Paige for a long time, but it appears he isn’t the only one who seeks her attention. Sean gets a bad feeling when he is around Coming Wind. He feels there is something not right about him. After Coming Wind makes an advance toward Paige, Sean steps in. Sean’s casual friendship slowly blossoms into much more with Paige, but if his secret is revealed, Paige may not understand and he could lose her. When he and Paige travel to the Grand Canyon, Sean makes a discovery about a wolf tribe that reveals more to Paige. Now she is left wondering if the new information will allow her to have a relationship with Sean.

Canyon Wolf Bride is a fabulous read. I found the plot intriguing and the characters in-depth. The tie-in with Coming Wind, and Paige, really pits some good action scenes between him and Sean. Alisha Paige paints some lovely scenery and characters that lift off the pages. She gives her readers a remarkable couple hard to let go. One can almost see the sights and sounds of the Grand Canyon, and the falls down below the canyon. Having lived there for nine months, it was just a quick reminder of how lovely a place is, especially when you share it with someone you love. I thought the paranormal events added a splendid touch of mystery that even sent some chills. Ms. Paige allows the reader to almost smell the scent of the forest and experience all the beauty of the wildlife depicted in this thrilling story.
